Salvador Dalì – the history’s best marketing person

Salvador Dalì lived in Port Lligat outside Cadaques. He constructed a huge museum about himself in Figureres and he also bought the palace in Pubol for his Russian wife Gala. Today there are museums in all three villages. They are all interesting in a different kind of way. In his beautiful home by the sea outside Cadaques, beside Rosas there SpainActive works, the artist had one private and on public part there he could receive guests. The private part was decorated very tasteful while the public part was completely surrealistic. For example there was a fountain with tequila bottles, 2 m high eggs, a 10 m long tube in the pool etcetera.

In the palace in Pubol (not far from Platja d Aro and S`Agaro where SpainActive has contract with hotels) Gala received her young Spanish lovers. Salvador had to tell his wife 24 hours in advise before he visited her, so she could get done with the things she were doing for the moment.

If you just should visit one of the places, we recommend the fantastic and original museum in Figureres. It is a very special experience mentally for people interested in art as well as not.
